Gearing up for yearly Quilt show

I am a perpetual starter, I start quilts right and left because "that looks so neat" or "I can do that in no time"!  Both are typically accurate, I do think things are "neat" and I usually do complete the top or "flimsy" in no time.  Then I seem to manage to catch a case of ADHD or as some would simply say "Squirrel".  "Oh look, I can do THAT one now!"  Off I go in another direction to start another top.  Somehow I tend not to get back to the quilting and binding stage.  This has caused a snafu in my storage area, I have no room to work because I have boxes of unfinished projects here and there.

My personal goal was to get as many of these "UFO" tops out of storage boxes, completed and into this year's quilt show before I get them out of the house completely.  My challenge is, nothing new can be started while that is still occurring!  Oh the pain!!!!! Piecemakers of Cairo are having their yearly quilt show on August  13th, I am on the set up/ hang team and the quilt intake coordinator so I have to complete my quilts by Thursday August 11th.

I started this clean up about 2 months ago, here's my list to be done in no specific order and the status it's currently at ....

1. wall hanging - Boyle, Buhbell & Trubel - this one is now complete
2. lap quilt - Pirate Boy's Booty - this one is now complete
3. lap quilt - Dog Cabin - Log Cabin - flimsy done not even layered yet, not holding much hope for this to be done in time :(
4. lap quilt - Blue Skies Flags - quilting started on machine, probably about 1/2 - 2/3 completed.  I modeled this from the MSQC Pennent pattern
5. King quilt - Labyrinth - pin basted, hand quilting, not as far along as I would like but gaining momentum, still have hope that it will make the show
6. wall hanging challenge - Hickory Dickory Dock - pieces here and there are done, needs to be brought together

I have 3 other quilts that are done and being entered but they've been done for some time.  Best case I will have all 9 completed and in our show.  I will be honest, I have 3 weeks left to complete these, unfortunately I don't see all of the remaining UFO quilts making it to the show.  The biggest "in jeopardy" quilts are Dog Cabin and Labyrinth, they have the most left to go.   We shall see what happens. I will get pictures posted as I am able but with 3 weeks left and a drive to complete them I don't see me taking time to blog them instead of sew on them :)

Catch up again soon, off to send my needles flying!
